The top four seeds in D10 senior boys' basketball all advanced through to the semifinals on Monday afternoon, and all posted relatively comfortable wins, with the closest game being a 16-point margin.
The top-seeded JF Ross Royals defeated Guelph CVI 73-46, backed by double-digit efforts from Evan Karl (13), Kristian Vandekemp (11), and Goran Kliska (10). Andrew Hood led all scorers with 20 for GCVI, while David Wesley-James had 9.
Erik Sterne had a season-high 32 points as the Centennial Spartans (#3 seed) took care of #6 St. James 69-53. Aleks Kaludjerovic added 16 for CCVI, while Ryan Morales had 16 and Nick Pelizzari 10 for the Lions.
Centre Wellington (#4) got huge efforts from their "big three" --- Tim Francis (20), Reid Goindi (19) and Gavin McNamara (16) --- as they defeated #5 Bishop Mac 69-42. Ben Morris had 12 and Jesse Kendall 8 for the youthful Celtics, who should only improve next year.
Lastly, #2 Lourdes dismantled the #7 Orangeville Bears by a 71-38 final. Mike Finoro had 16 and Jordan Trimble 8 in the win, while Kyle Orvis (18) led ODSS and Michael Coleman added 7.

CWOSSA Qualification
In AA, the Lourdes Crusaders will advance to the "CWOSSA qualifier" against either Delhi or Simcoe Composite from NSSAA. This game is scheduled to take place next Tuesday, at Lourdes.
Meanwhile, St. James will advance through to play the D4 representative (likely Centre Dufferin). The winner of that game will advance to CWOSSA, while the loser will still have another chance through a back-door qualifying game against the lone team from the BAA in "AAA", West Hill.
For "AAAA", 2 of JF Ross/Centennial/Centre Wellington will be the CWOSSA representatives. Here's how the semifinals will help determine the AAAA teams advancing:
JFR & CCVI win --- AAAA Qualifiers: JFR & CCVI (TBD)
JFR & OLOL win --- AAAA Qualifiers: JFR (#1) & CCVI (#2)
CWDHS & CCVI win --- AAAA Qualifiers: CCVI & CWDHS (TBD)
CWDHS & OLOL win --- AAAA Qualifiers: CWDHS (#1) & JFR (#2)
