D10: Results & Playoff Matchups

Senior

One slight surprise on Thursday as the Orangeville Bears upset St. James by a 64-59 final.  This was a more important game to the Bears who avoid the 8th spot in the standings and move up to 7th overall.  St. James was locked into 6th entering the contest.

Justin Levesque had a great outing for ODSS, pouring in 29 points.  Kyle Hanes had 17, while STJ received 19 from Nick Pelizzari and 10 from Ron Kinga.

Meanwhile, JF Ross handled Centre Wellington 70-53, with Mike Friesen (18), Evan Karl (12) and Shamlo Saeed (11) pacing the Ross attack.  Reid Goindi netted 21 for the Falcons, with Tim Francis adding 11.

That loss, coupled with Centennial's 63-46 win over Bishop Mac, vaults the Spartans into 3rd place in the standings and means CW will finish 4th.  In CCVI's game, Aleks Kaludjerovic had 24 and Erik Sterne 22 for the winners, while Bishop Mac was led by Jesse Kendall with 19 and Owen Brombal who had 9.
