D8 Monday: Final Regular Season Dates to Determine Playoff Spots

The final day of the D8 regular season is today, and several parts of the playoff picture are yet to be finalized.

What we do know is this --- on the senior side, St. Mary's will finish 1st, Resurrection 2nd and St. Benedict 3rd.  As such, today's Resurrection vs. St. Benedict game means very little (especially with the same two teams meeting in the semifinals on Wednesday).

The most crucial game to the senior schedule will be St. David hosting Rockway.  A St. David win advances them through to the playoffs (and through to CWOSSA, as well).  A Rockway win, however, would set up a very interesting tiebreak scenario, which we'll get to in a separate post.

Over on the junior side, everything is set with the exception of the third and final playoff position.  The winner of the Resurrection/St. Benedict game will finish 3rd, with the loser finishing in 4th position.
