First Round

The Phoenix put a scare into one of the top teams in the GTA, as they had this one tied at 14-14 in the second quarter before the Jaguars closed out the half on a 6-0 run.  The Phoenix maintained contact throughout the second half, but they did tire to a degree thanks in part to JV's harassing pressure defense.

Still, a solid effort against a team that is currently tied with Pickering and ranked ahead of JC Richardson (among others) in the latest GTA Rankings.

Jaaden Lewis led all scorers with a 14 point effort for Jean Vanier, while Nick McKee and JJ Silva scored 7 each.  For Rez, Thomas Hunter netted 10, and Kirlos Milio and Mark Wylie had 7 each.

Michael Ganson scored 16 first half points as the Celtics exploded for 48 first-half points, and cruised to an 83-49 win.  Ganson finished with 26, while Adam MacEachern added 20.  Paul Whitson had 12 and Jay McAuley 9 for St. Pat's.
