The first "Small Schools Showcase" is taking place this weekend in Burlington & Oakville --- it's a unique concept as they've invited 16 schools in the "A" and "AA" classifications to participate.
CWOSSA schools Lourdes and Walkerton are participating.
The tournament is seeded, with team #1 playing #16, #2 vs. #15, and so on down the line in the first round. Lourdes has been ranked #5 (first round against Pretty River), and Walkerton will start as the #8 seed (first round Barrie Central).
Results are scheduled to be made available on the tournament's blog site.
