In fact, the 4 teams playing today have already been "locked into" their playoff seeds, with one "quarterfinal game" (SDCSS @ SBCSS) already decided. Monsignor Doyle will host either Woodland or Rockway in the other quarterfinal, with St. Mary's and Resurrection earning first-round byes.
Today's junior schedule, though, has a big game with St. Benedict (6-2) hosting Resurrection (6-2). The winner of that game will get the #2 seed in the playoffs, along with a home semifinal game and a first-round playoff bye.

Nothing but pride on the line here, as these two teams are locked into their playoff positions. I look for the Phoenix, though, to end their regular season on a winning note.

Again, both of these squads are locked into their seeding, but the Eagles surely will want to wrap up another undefeated D8 season and should win this one.
