Count me among those that were suprised to see the Bishop Macdonell Celtics get a #12 seed at the 2014 "AA" OFSAA championships.Personally, I had Bishop Mac, a #4 seed and last year's bronze medalists (albeit without the full contingent of public participants), somewhere in the upper single digits --- albeit with my CWOSSA bias.
The Celts also don't get any benefit from that seeding, as their first game is against the top-seeded team in the event, Merivale SS from Ottawa, who had a nice run at the Silver Fox tournament a couple of weeks ago.
Of course, the Celtics are arguably the hottest team in CWOSSA right now, so it will be interesting to see if they can spring an upset in one of their games.
