There were a couple of 30 point efforts on Thursday afternoon in the D10 junior basketball league, both occurring in the same contest!
Graydon Lindsay had 31 for the Orangeville Bears and Matt Sanvido scored 30 for the St. James Lions, but it was the Lions who had more points from their supporting cast in a 73-55 win.
Michael Piovesan (15), Jeff Morales (11) and Aidan Feeney (11) were all in double-figures for the Lions as well, while Nigel Carey-Kochan had 15 for the Bears.
In other action, JF Ross finished their season with a win in a low-scoring affair, 30-19 over Bishop Mac. BMAC's Noah Slater and Ross' Brodie Beamish had 9 each for their respective clubs.
Centennial finished their season with just one loss, following a 53-44 win over Guelph CVI. Tommy Nield poured in 23 points for the Spartans, while Lincoln Rosebush had 18 for the Gaels.
