Kenning at left vs. Florida (PBA Athletics) |
Cory Kenning (Resurrection '13), who missed most of last season following an injury in an exhibition game to NCAA D-1 Stetson, made his return to the court yesterday as his Palm Beach Atlantic Swordfish (NCAA D2) traveled to Gainseville, FL to battle the University of Florida.
As was expected, the Gators prevailed, using a 27-5 run over 10:00 of second half action to win, 89-42.
Kenning finished with 3 points and 1 rebound in 13 minutes of action.
Murray Flirts With Triple Double in Opener
With 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists in his opening game, Kitchener's Jamal Murray just missed out on a triple-double in Kentucky's first exhibition game, a 117-59 blowout of Ottawa University, a Kansas school that plays in the NAIA.
Kentucky is back in action tonight, with another exhibition game, this time against Kentucky State (NCAA D2).
