It certainly didn't take long for twins Candice and Courtney Wright to make an impression at Vermont.
In the Catamounts' first official game of the season against NCAA D1 opposition (Central Connecticut State), the twins combined for 26 points in Vermont's 79-63 win.
Candice went 4-8 from the field and 6-7 from the line for her 14 points, while adding 7 rebounds, 3 blocks and 1 steal. She got the start and played 24 minutes.
Courtney, meanwhile, was a perfect 6-for-6 from the field off the bench for 12 points, while adding 4 rebounds and one blocked shot.
Vermont's next game is Tuesday evening against Columbia University, before they host another CWOSSA Alum, Alex Klein and Bryant University on Friday.
That game will mark the first time ever that three former CWOSSA players will play in the same NCAA game; there have been several occurrences of two players, most recently Kelly Van Leeuwen (Niagara) against Jenn Lennox (Canisius) a couple of years' back.
Here are the highlights from the game, with Candice (#11) and Courtney (#21) in their home Catamount white jerseys:
