The top four teams advanced through to the semifinals in the D10 Junior & Senior Girls' basketball league, setting up today's semifinals.
Winners of today's games will advance through to Monday's D10 finals (time/location TBA).
On the senior side, top-ranked GCVI will battle #4 Centennial, in a game that certainly has the potential of being closer than it looks at first glance. The Gaels won the first meeting of the year by only 8 points, although they have certainly gotten stronger as the season has progressed.
JF Ross, the #2 seed, also swept their season series against #3 Bishop Mac -- led by a couple of "Darling" 20-point efforts. Ali had 20 in the first encounter, while Maddy netted 22 in the return visit.
In terms of CWOSSA qualification, Bishop Mac will be D10's "AA" representative. The two "AAA" berths will be determined by today's games, with GCVI, JF Ross and Centennial all being in the mix for those.
Junior

Bishop Mac, will battle #3 St. James, who they dispatched 61-14 and 52-22 during their regular season meetings.
