The Bishop Mac Celtics aren't going anywhere.
Despite losing several key figures from last year's CWOSSA "AA" championship team, the Celtics went into St. James yesterday and handed the Lions (a projected top 3 team in D10 this year) a 58-39 wake-up call.
Scoring details weren't immediately available at the time of this post.
The other game on Wednesday saw the other AA school, the Lourdes Crusaders, also move to 2-0 with a 49-28 victory over Orangeville.
Erin Gerstenkorn (9) and Hannah Pearsall (8) led the way for Lourdes, while Claire Fenton had a game-high 18 points for ODSS, with Rachel Adams and Sarah Rose contributing 4 each.
