Pereira was an integral part of Resurrection's senior squad the last few years, including a memorable 20-point, 10 rebound performance during Resurrection's 2011 D8 (68-64 OT) victory against St. Mary's.
Several other CWOSSA 'ballers have also surfaced at Waterloo, but were not officially named as "commits" prior to tryouts. Mike Finoro (6'0"G/Guelph Lourdes), Nick Pelizzari (6'7" F/Guelph St. James) and Cam Gibbs (6'2" F/Resurrection) are other CWOSSA grads who might have a shot at cracking the UW roster.
