Coach Popic will have three (current) grade 10s, three grade 11s, and two 5th year students on his 2012-13 roster. All played on a CWOSSA-based team during the 2011-12 school year.
In an e-mail, he clarified their transfer eligibility and the fact that the team will play as a "school team" and not in a prep league.
"Because it's public to independent (transfer), they are all eligible to play in all league/playoff (CISAA) games right away. We can't qualify for OFSAA this year, but next year we (would) be able to," said Popic.
