With one date left on the schedule, everything is essentially set as far as the D8 junior playoff match-ups.
The St. Benedict Saints took out Monsignor Doyle 42-12 to officially wrap up 4th place in the D8 standings and eliminate the Mustangs, who finish with a 2-8 record.
At 4-5 with one game remaining, the Saints can't move up from 4th spot. They will take on #1 Resurrection (9-0) on Monday in their regular season finale, and then again in the playoffs on Wednesday.
The Phoenix took their 9th straight D8 game with a 49-11 victory over Rockway. Sarah Schultz (10) and Andrea Phillippi (8) paced the Phoenix, while Samantha Veltri had 4 for the Flames.
The other semifinal will see St. Mary's hosting St. David (unless SMHS loses to RMC on Monday).

Senior
With the playoff spots already determined in the D8 senior league, the only remaining thing to be determined is the question of who will host the RCSS/SBCSS semifinal game.
At present, Rez leads the way with a 7-2 record (SBCSS is 6-3); however, the teams do play in the season finale on Monday. As such, a Saint win by 11+ would enable them to host Wednesday's rematch between the two clubs.
In yesterday's action, Rez coasted past Rockway 39-11, with Marley Neiscier scoring 10 and Angelika Jarski adding 4. Emma Bender led the Flames with 7.
In the other game, St. Benedict had their hands full but came out on top against Doyle 38-29. Dana Milani netted 16 with Hilary Ferguson and Alisa Tkaczyk scoring 6 each. Jade Loehle had 13 and Marley Gray 6 for the 'Stangs.
