The Simcoe Sabres seniors finished undefeated in the NSSAA regular season as they beat Valley Heights 29-12.
The Sabres were led in scoring by Jordan Vanderhaeghen with nine and Alyssa Becque, who added eight. The Voyageur-Bears were paced by Tessa Clark with five points.
The Sabres were also victorious in the junior match, winning by a final score of 31-12. Simcoe's Hailey Taylor had 14 points to lead all scorers.
The Holy Trinity Titans junior girls scored a win in their final NSSAA basketball game of the regular season, 42-14 over Waterford. Holy Trinity, led by Katelyn Heyenz with 14 points, got its sixth win of the season. The Titans finish the year with a mark of 6-2, good enough for second in the league standings.
In the senior contest, the Wolves got their first victory of the season, defeating the playoff-bound Titans. Exact score was not available at press time.
