The SJAM Highlanders lost a close 68-62 contest to Sir Edmund Campion of Brampton (HM GTA Top 15) at the Xavier Junior Rimrocker today.
Quinn Turner provided a tremendous effort for SJAM with 25 points. Kean Lopez led Campion with 28 points.
To advance out of pool play, SJAM is basically in a must-win situation against Toronto Emery tomorrow in a 12:10pm game at Campion. The reason I say this is because they face the ultimate test at 5:30 against (in my opinion) the second best junior team in all of Ontario, Vaughan SS. Vaughan dispatched Emery 86-32 in their opening game.
