The Raiders are the recipients of the first CWOSSA boys basketball gold medals of the season, as they defeated Kitchener Rockway 54-32 in today's junior boys "A" CWOSSA final.
The game was tight early, with the Raiders holding onto a 3 point lead after one -- but by the end of the third they had pushed things to 12 (34-22) and continued to push the pace in the fourth quarter to pull out the win.
This marks Delhi's first CWOSSA crown since the 2002-03 season, when they took gold in the senior boys' "A" division. Their last junior title was in the 2000-01 season, when they were classified as an "AA" school for CWOSSA.
