Upset Alert: WCSSAA

In WCSSAA senior action, the Preston Panthers, currently clawing for their playoff lives with a 2-8 record, have taken a 20-15 halftime lead over the KCI Raiders in Kitchener.

(I checked this one out for a bit but had to leave due to a prior commitment).

Update:  Preston did indeed pick up the upset, 53-45.

Speaking of upsets, the 6-4 WCI Vikings dumped the 9-1 SJAM Highlanders by a 61-49 final.

Cameron Heights knocked FHCI from the unbeaten ranks by drilling them 72-52.

Glenview Park stayed alive in the playoff race with a 66-51 win over Huron Heights.

The WODSS Crusaders defeated Southwood by 3 (64-61), giving them the edge in the race for a CWOSSA AAA playoff berth.

Galt took out Jacob Hespeler 70-47, while Bluevale cruised past Grand River 65-39.  Each "Cvrkalj" led their respective team in scoring (Stefan - 16 for BCI, Filip - 14 for GRCI).
