D10 Tuesday: No Surprises As Favourites Cruise to Wins

There were no surprises on Tuesday afternoon in the Senior D10 league, as all four "favourites" posted comfortable double-digit wins.  Here's a look at the results and current standings:

Senior

Centennial 62, Orangeville 41
CCVI:  Tarang Sharma 30, Erik Sterne 25
ODSS:  Ian Wolfe 12, Kyle Holmes 11

St. James 66, Centre Wellington 47
STJ:  Ryan Higgins 17, Alex Campagnolo 16
CW:  Gavin MacNamara 12, Tim Francis 7

JF Ross 52, Bishop Mac 29
JFR:  Nick Maule 11, Matin Binawa 9
BMAC:  Justin Manarang 7

Lourdes 67, Guelph CVI 46
OLOL:  Sharieff Peru 15, Mike Finoro 15
GCVI:  Emin Spahic 12, Bryan Smith 11

Senior D10 Standings
1.  JF Ross 13-0 (clinched 1st)
2.  St. James 11-2 (clinched 2nd)
T3.  Centennial 8-5
T3.  Lourdes 8-5
5.  Centre Wellington 7-6
T6.  Guelph CVI 2-11
T6.  Bishop Mac 2-11
8.  Orangeville 1-12

Junior

Bishop Mac 64, JF Ross 63
(Looks like a great game as the Royals nearly handed Bishop Mac their first CWOSSA loss of the season)
BMAC:  Jesse Kendall 21, Owen Brombal 17
JFR:  Kristian Vande Kemp 25, Nolan Ireland 18

St. James 48, Centre Wellington 44 (OT)
STJ:  Zach McClenaghan 11, Josh MacDonald 10
CW:  Josh MacEachern 15, Braewyn Bird 14

Guelph CVI 50, Lourdes 49
GCVI:  Jonah Hopkins 20
OLOL:  Kevin Roche 15, Andrew Chapman 12

Centennial 52, Orangeville 48
ODSS:  Jamie McMahon 17

D10 Junior Standings
1.  Bishop Mac 13-0
T2.  JF Ross 9-4  (Remaining:  ODSS)
T2.  St. James 9-4  (Remaining:  CCVI)
T2.  Centre Wellington 9-4  (Remaining:  OLOL)
5.  Guelph CVI 5-8
T6.  Centennial 3-10
T6.  Lourdes 3-10
8.  Orangeville 1-12

....it looks as though JF Ross, St. James and Centre Wellington should all win their remaining game and finish all tied at 10-4.  According to the D10 constitution, the head to head tiebreak is head to head point differential among all tied teams.

So, we would have:
JFR:  -2 (CW), +6 (STJ), -5 (CW), +6 (STJ) = +5
STJ:  +13 (CW), -6 (JFR), -6 (JFR), +4 (CW) = +5
CW:  +2 (JFR), -13 (STJ), +5 (JFR), -4 (STJ) = -10

....JF Ross and St. James are both "+5" but JF Ross did beat St. James twice (and at any rate, they still would hold the next tiebreak, which is "total points against all teams").  So looks like JF Ross 2nd, St. James 3rd, and Centre Wellington 4th.
