No surprises on Tuesday as the four favoured teams ended up on the winning side of the equation.
The Bishop Macdonell Celtics and St. James Lions both moved to 5-0 with their respective wins, both over CWOSSA-ranked opponents.
Bishop Mac slid past Centennial, 55-52, backed by 16 points from Chris Poloniato and 13 more by Lukas Wood. Jasmer Brar had a game-high 20 for the Spartans, with Chris Jin adding 11.
St. James, meanwhile, got 12 points each from Mitch Marquis, Quinn Feeney, and Joey Hasson in their 63-45 win over CWDHS. James Scott (15), Josh McEachern (10) and Ty Uhrig (10) were the Falcons in double-figures.
JF Ross added to GCVI's defensive woes, putting up 86 points in an 86-36 win. Andrew Folkerson had 15 and Nathan Earley 13 for JFR, while Mac Riley led the way for the Gaels with 11.
Also on Tuesday, Lourdes also picked up their first win of the campaign, a 67-55 victory over Orangeville DSS. Scoring details were not immediately available from source.
Junior
Lincoln Rosebush netted 22 points as the GCVI Gaels remained perfect on the year with a 44-30 win over the JF Ross Royals. Brodie Beamish had 11 to pace Ross in that one.
St. James received two 20+ efforts --- 25 from Mike Piovesan and 21 by Jeff Morales --- in a 69-57 win over Centre Wellington. CW's top efforts were from Cole Newton (18) and Mitch Rose-Janes (13).
Centennial is now 5-1 following a 52-36 win over Bishop Mac. Jimmy Omino had 15 and Tommy Nield 10 for the Spartans; Noah Slater had 11 for BMAC.
Orangeville kept Lourdes winless, posting a 62-42 win at home. Scoring details were not available.
