BAA North: Walkerton Sweeps Season Openers

It was opening day on Monday in the BAA North, where the Walkerton Raiders (last year's CWOSSA "A" Senior champions) picked up a win by handling the Saugeen DSS Royals in a 39-29 contest.

Taylor Gray and Megan Lamont had 10 points each for WDSS.

The junior Raiders also got off to a 1-0 start, as they got past Saugeen 32-27 in the other half of the doubleheader.  Hanna Niesen had a terrific outing for WDSS, scoring 16 points.
