The St. James Lions, one of the top junior teams in CWOSSA last season, will open up their 2011 schedule at home as they host a 4-team home tournament.
The Lions are joined by one of their D10 rivals, the Centre Wellington Falcons out of Fergus, as well as two non-CWOSSA schools ---- Christ The King (Georgetown) and St. Mike's (Toronto). Both of those schools are coached by former St. James alumni (Olivia Bailey - CTK; Paula Valeriote - St. Mike's). Both ladies played on the same team as current Senior Lions co-coach Stef Nadalin, and combined they took home the 1999 Premier Division 1 OBA championship title.
Games tip-off at 5pm tonight, with St. James playing Christ the King. CWDHS plays St. Mike's in the other game this evening at 6:30pm. Teams will then play 2 games tomorrow morning (and early afternoon) in the round-robin tournament format.
