Junior Girls

St. David 53, Rockway 3

Emily Slusarek had 11 points as the Celtics romped to a beatdown of the Flames.  

Resurrection 33, St. Mary's 28

Sophomore guard Sarah Schultz had a game-high 18 points for the Phoenix as they picked up an important opening win on the road against their "AAAA" rivals.  Sydney Greulich had a team-high 14 for SMHS.

Senior Girls

St. Mary's 52, Resurrection 24

The Eagles proved they are clearly the team to beat in the D8 league by more than doubling up the Phoenix in this one.  Kaitlyn Schenck led the way with 16 points, while Laura Boterman had 8 and Shelby Dixon and Emma Jada 6 each for the Eagles.  Jacqui Rodrigues had 9 and Janelle Santi 6 for Rez.

St. David 29, Rockway 11

A defensive struggle in the D8 opener for these teams.  Jen Woods had 11 for the Celts in the win, while Steph Veltri was the leader in this one for Rockway with 4.
