D10: Tuesday Results
JF Ross 50, St. James 34
My Pick: JFR
I thought this game might be a bit closer, but the Royals were on their game on Tuesday. Sydney Resch and Julia Robertson had 16 each for the Royals, while rookies Brittany Gazzola (15) and Ashley Benham (11) topped the Lions' scoring.
Bishop Mac 54, Orangeville 28
My Pick: BMAC
As expected, the Celtics took this one, backed by 16 from Katie Labron and 8 from Rebecca Keil. Claire Fenton had a solid effort for the Bears with 16, while teammate Megan Doyle netted 6.
Centre Wellington 57, Lourdes 39
My Pick: CWDHS
The Falcons move to 3-0 after dispatching the Lourdes Crusaders. Erica McFadden (20) and Jaime Janssen (18) were a solid 1-2 punch for the Falcons, while Hailey Salvian was also in double figures with 12. Lourdes received 9 each from Victoria Brombal and Melinda McNeice.
Guelph CVI 44, Centennial 28
Sierra McLaren pumped home 15 points and fellow Gaels Hanna Chidwick and Jamie Young added 8 each as the Gaels improved to 1-2 by handling the winless Spartans. CCVI received 8 from Odessa Grant-Esco and 6 from Kendra Achonwa.
