The "AA" CWOSSA junior & senior girls' tournaments are set to tip off today in Guelph.As usual, the D10 schools, Our Lady of Lourdes (Junior) and Bishop Macdonell (Senior) enter as the prohibitive favourites --- but there's always a reason as to why the games are played, so we'll see if any upsets go down over the next couple of days.
Pool play goes today, with cross-over semifinals and finals tomorrow in the 6-team tournament.
Junior
Pool A: Kincardine DSS, Centre Dufferin, Delhi DSS
Pool B: Lourdes, St. Mary's (OS), Paris DHS
Senior
Pool A: Owen Sound, Wellington Hts., Delhi
Pool B: Bishop Macdonell, Kincardine, Southwood
Of note, Pool A games are all at Our Lady of Lourdes today, while Pool B goes at Bishop Mac. Tomorrow, semifinals and finals are all at Bishop Macdonell with the junior final going at 3:00pm and the senior final at 4:30pm.
