More Boys' Tournament Info

The Galt CI Ghosts and Cameron Heights Golden Gaels will be in Hamilton this coming weekend (Friday / Saturday) at the annual Pinky Lewis Tournament, co-hosted by McMaster University.

The tournament is a massive 32-team event, with 8 pools of 4 teams.  The winners of each pool move on to the quarterfinals.

Cameron Heights will be in a pool with Barton (Hamilton), Oakville Loyola and Ottawa St. Patrick's.

Galt CI, meanwhile, will play Holy Trinity (Oakville), Sarnia St. Patrick's and Hamilton Westmount in their games.

Sarnia St. Patrick, last year's OFSAA "A" champions, have merged with Sarnia St. Christopher (an "AA" school) and are now one school competing at the "AAAA" level.

Speaking of Sarnia St. Patrick's, the Resurrection Phoenix will be carrying the CWOSSA banner at the junior tournament hosted by the Fighting Irish this weekend.

Resurrection will be in a pool with London Saunders and Sarnia Northern.  The other three-team pool features hosts Sarnia St. Patrick, Chatham McGregor and St. Basil from Sault Ste. Marie.

Pool games go Friday evening and Saturday morning, with semifinals and finals Saturday afternoon.
