For now, the Brantford St. John's Green Eagles have some bragging rights.
That said, the bragging rights with greater importance will be decided after the regular season and playoff games that account for the BCSSAA schedule.
The Green Eagles took home the title at the annual Ed O'Leary/Brantford Expositor Senior Boys' tip-off tournament this weekend, besting the North Park Trojans 55-44 in the championship final.
Connor Kuzmich netted 14 and Adam Peters 10 for SJC, while North Park received a game-high 19 points from Matt Minutillo and 9 more from Jon Dulmage.
