The Bishop Macdonell Celtics are a force in D10 junior boys basketball.
Just ask the rest of the teams in the competitive D10 league.
The Celtics finished their third straight undefeated regular season with a 69-38 shellacking of Guelph CVI on Thursday night, a win that pushed their league and playoff win streak within D10 to an amazing 51 games.
The Celtics have won the last 3 D10 titles (2008, 2009, 2010). In fact, their last D10 loss was the last regular season game in the 2007-2008 season.
Thus far, the success hasn't quite translated to the senior ranks, but that is also partially attributable to Bishop Mac's two best players during that span (Connor & Mitchell Wood) heading over to the REDA program.
The Celtics will start off their quest for a fourth consecutive D10 title next week when they play Orangeville in the D10 quarterfinals.
