Phoenix Take First Game at Senior All-Catholic

The Resurrection Phoenix held off a pesky Bishop Tonnos (Ancaster) squad 58-53 in the opening round of the Ontario All-Catholic Senior Boys Basketball touranment.

The Phoenix will now play perennial powerhouse Oakville Loyola in the second round of this tournament.

Brantford St. John's is the other CWOSSA representative in the tournament; they lost their first round game 50-25 against Ottawa Sacred Heart, who are widely considered one of the top teams outside of the GTA.
