Juwan Miller scored 35 points and Omar Aidaruse added 10 as the Forest Heights Trojans opened up a 19-6 first quarter lead and never looked back as they handled the St. Mary's Eagles 58-47 in tonight's junior AAAA championship final.
Ian Anderson added 8 more for the Trojans, while Jack Taylor scored 3 and Elijah Callendar 2.
The Eagles were led by Mike Blumel, who had 16 before fouling out early in the fourth quarter. Avery Sutton had 13, Tyler Hergott 7, Jeremy Cresswell 6 and Telloy Simon 5 to round out the Eagle scoring.
This is Forest Heights' second ever junior "AAAA" title; they last won in 2005 over North Park CVS.
