WCSSAA Senior - QFs (3:30pm)
(1) Cameron Heights 63, (8) WODSS 43
No trouble for the #1 seed as they advance to the semifinals on their home floor Saturday. Nebojsa Djeric had 22 in the win.
(2) Forest Heights 53, (7) WCI 48
The Trojans hold off the pesky (and youthful) Vikes, who will definitely be a force over the next couple of years in WCSSAA play. Srdjan Stanviuk (FHCI) led all scorers with 19.
(3) SJAM 38, (6) KCI 35
As expected, it was a low-scoring affair in Waterloo with the Highlanders squeaking out the win.
(5) Grand River 68, (4) Bluevale 65 - in OT
A bit of a surprise (based upon seeding and their regular season meeting) as the Rens knock off the reigning WCSSAA & CWOSSA "AAAA" champs, ending Stefan Cvrkalj's high school career in the process (he finished with 30 points, BTW). Osama Qahwash hit 8 three pointers (26 points total) in the game, including a game-winning three-pointer at the OT buzzer while fading out of bounds. Wow!
Semifinal Saturday (at CHCI - times unofficial):
(2) Forest Heights vs. (3) SJAM - 8:00pm
(1) Cameron Heights vs. (4) Grand River - 6:30pm
WCSSAA Junior - QFs (5:00pm)
(1) Cameron Heights 39, (8) Eastwood 35
The ECI Rebels nearly lived up to their "darkhorse" status but fell just short in their upset bid.
(2) Forest Heights 62, (7) KCI 25
The Raiders could not contain Juwan Miller, who went off for 38 in this one. Ian Anderson added 13 more for FHCI.
(3) Grand River 49, (6) Galt 35
Another year, another GRCI appearance in the WCSSAA semifinals.
(4) Bluevale 45, (5) Glenview Park 29
The Knights are semifinalists at the junior level after containing the GPSS Panthers' potent offense. Garrett Large had 17 in the win.

The Crusaders come close, but fall just short. Mike Finoro (15) led Lourdes, while Shamlo Saeed chipped in 14 for Ross.
(3) Centennial 57, (2) St. James 56
The Spartans pick up the road win over the Lions to face JF Ross in the D10 finals --- yet again. Serge Khayipangi had 20 for the Spartans in the win, while Ryan Higgins led the Lions with 21.
