The Resurrection Phoenix were beaten 81-51 by top-seeded Oakville Loyola in second round championship side action last Friday afternoon in St. Catharines at the All-Ontario Catholic Tournament in Hamilton.
The Hawks would go on to win the tournament, posting a 60-52 victory over Ottawa Sacred Heart, who defeated Brantford St. John's (50-25) in the opening round.
Adam Presutti from Loyola was named as the tournament's MVP, joining an impressive list of past tournament MVPs, including former NBAer Leo Rautins and University of Texas freshman star Tristan Thompson.
