The St. James (Guelph) Lions are hosting a 9-team tournament this weekend.
Teams will be broken into three pools of 3, with the winners of each pool plus one "wildcard" advancing to the semifinals.
Interestingly enough, 6 of the 7 CWOSSA teams participating are either in my top ten, or were listed as "honourable mentions" in the most recent ranking.
Pool "A"
Centre Dufferin (CWOSSA #2)
St. James (CWOSSA HM)
London Banting
Pool "B"
North Park (CWOSSA HM)
JF Ross (CWOSSA HM)
Centre Wellington
Pool "C"
Waterloo SJAM (CWOSSA #5)
Guelph Centennial (CWOSSA HM)
Hamilton Bishop Ryan

Ross beat SJAM in semifinal 1, in semifinal two Centennial overcame a 15 (or so) point deficit to beat Center Dufferin in double overtime.
ReplyDeleteRoss won the final on a buzzer beating trey by Jake Frimith. Great game with both teams climbing back from 8 point deficits.
