The Brantford St. John's Eagles got a good tune up for AAAA CWOSSA by facing some stiff competition this past weekend at the Ontario All-Catholic Senior Tournament in St. Catharines.
The Eagles lost their first round game to Oakville's St. Ignatius of Loyola SS (one of the top teams in Ontario) by a 91-73 final.
Loyola went on to win the tournament, defeating Notre Dame Welland, Brampton Campion, and Brampton D'Youville in the final.
The Eagles lost their second game to another GTA squad, Pope John Paul II, by an 83-54 final.
