WCSSAA Senior Selections: February 11th

Let's get right to these.....

Bluevale (11-0) at Forest Heights (7-4)
Pick: BCI
Line: BCI by 12

Bluevale doesn't have much to play for, so I have a feeling a few starters may see some bench time today to rest up for their playoff run.

Eastwood (2-9) at SJAM (10-1)
Pick: SJAM
Line: SJAM by 22

Ben Reyhani or not, SJAM will take this one.

Grand River (5-6) at Cameron Heights (7-4)
Pick: CHCI
Line: CHCI by 11

The Rens are more dangerous than their record indicates.....but they're pretty much sewn into the #9 seed. The Gaels have more to play for and should be up for this one.

Waterloo (9-2) at WODSS (4-7)
Pick: WCI
Line: WCI by 15

WCI, I believe, would still finish ahead of KCI if they lose and KCI wins their game. Let's hope we don't have to worry about calculating that tiebreak. Vikes to win here.

Southwood (7-4) at Huron Hts (1-10)
Pick: SSS
Line: SSS by 27

The Huskies should be getting some good junior talent coming up next year. Their 2009-10 season on the other hand ends tonight.

Jacob Hespeler (3-8) at KCI (8-3)
Pick: KCI
Line: KCI by 14

Have a feeling that KCI coach Nick White might take it easy on former KCI Alum and current JHSS coach Matt McIntyre......but the Raiders will still be ahead at the end.

Galt (3-8) at Preston (6-5)
Pick: PHS
Line: PHS by 16

Panthers get a home playoff game with a win. Do they need more motivation than that? Well, they're playing a fellow Cambridge school which should add some fuel to the fire.....

Elmira (3-8) at Glenview Park (2-9)
Pick: EDSS
Line: EDSS by 7

As I discussed earlier, it looks like the GPSS Panthers are mathematically eliminated from playoff consideration. The Lancers got a big win on Tuesday and I look for them to keep things going heading into the playoffs.
