Head coach Todd Andrew believes Tyler Johnson, Marcus Hamilton and Cale McDonald are capable three-point shooters for his North Park Collegiate Trojans.
However, when their long-range bombs can't find the targets, the Trojan stars must change tactics.
North Park, ahead only 22-16 at halftime, exploded in third quarter Thursday night and went on to defeat the Assumption College Lions 57-40 in a Brant County high school senior boys basketball game on their home court," Andrew said.
"We had good looks from three (point range) in the first half but they weren't going down. They need to learn to look for other options when that's not going for them. They did a good job of that in the second half."
The Trojans outscored the Lions 19-11 in the third quarter to build a 41-27 lead.
Johnson and Hamilton each finished with 16 points. Logan Varga and McDonald each got six points.
Andre Toic scored 20 points for the Lions and Pat Wilson got 14 points.
