The Grand River Renegades used home court to their advantage on Tuesday afternoon, pulling out a 60-51 victory over the visiting Cameron Heights Gaels.
It was a big win for Grand River, who already had 3 in the loss column (entering the game at 4-3). However, they seem to be gelling at the right time.
Meanwhile, the Gaels lost their first contest on the year, dropping their record to 7-1.
Chuder Teny had a game-high 21 for GRCI, with Adi Trovac adding 13 more for the Rens. Luke Hovius (18) and Jason Thompson (12) were the high scorers for Cameron.
