The Huron Heights Huskies went 2-0 on Friday afternoon, securing the "tournament championship" in a mini-tournament hosted by St. David CSS in Waterloo.
The Huskies opened with a 67-60 win over the host Celtics, and then upended Holy Trinity (Simcoe) 44-37.
The Celtics would pick up a win by also holding off the Titans, 39-35, despite 22 points from Trinity guard Josh Johnson.
The Titans have now lost 4 games to ranked AAA teams, but only by a combined 15 points. They're definitely a team worth keeping an eye on going forward.
All teams are back in action this week for league games; the Celtics are first-up with a game today (Monday) against St. Benedict in Cambridge.
