Weekly CWOSSA Power Rankings - All Divisions

The Kitchener St. Mary's Eagles are on top of the CWOSSA basketball world.

For (I believe) the first time in the history of these rankings, the same school (SMHS) has snatched top spot in both the AAAA junior and senior boys' rankings. 

The junior Eagles have not lost a game yet this entire season (including exhibition & tournament play) after dumping last year's D8 and CWOSSA AAAA champion Resurrection Phoenix 70-43 at home on Wednesday night.  The Eagles have scheduled an exhibition game for February 3rd against the Bishop Macdonell (Guelph) Celtics which could give us an indication of the best overall junior team in CWOSSA.

Meanwhile, the St. Mary's Eagles have vaulted over the Resurrection Phoenix in the senior AAAA rankings after taking care of Rez on their home floor 70-61 Wednesday.  The Eagles and Phoenix split their season series 1-1, and the rubber match will (likely) come in the D8 championship game on Friday, February 18th at Resurrection.

Of course, still a lot of basketball to be played and we'll see who is sharp after the upcoming exam break.
