I must say, the "AAA" rankings are the most interesting to put together on a weekly basis.
Let's start at the top --- I've put North Park back in the #1 spot, after a convincing weekend win over Brantford CI. KCI is in the mix as well.
Those three teams have been in the top three every week so far this season, though the order is continually fluctuating depending on which team is hot that week. All three have been #1 at one point this season.
The big jump of the week goes to the MDCSS Mustangs, who vault from the #10 spot to #6, after a weekend tournament that saw them go 3-0 (winning over Preston) and after they dropped a close (3 point) league game to St. David.
Southwood also dropped a league game to Preston, though they have beaten a couple of other "AAA" schools in the rankings (Galt and Elmira).
Confused yet?
At any rate, it seems as though the teams ranked #4 through #10 in senior could realistically beat each other on any given evening depending on the circumstances. It will be interesting to see if any of those teams can peak at the right time in the playoffs and potentially take out one of the top three (either in league playoffs or CWOSSA).
