High School Boys Hoops: D10 Schedule Released

Although it has been posted for some time, I'll give a shout-out to the D10 league and the fact that the Boys' Basketball schedule for 2010-11 is now posted up at the D4/D10's ScoreStop Website.

The D10 schedule gets underway on Tuesday, November 23rd, with a 4 game schedule including a rematch of last year's D10 championship final in the senior division --- JF Ross at Centennial.  This year's Spartans, however, are a much different looking bunch while the JF Ross Royals have graduated a couple key performers as well, including G/F Ryan Cook (Humber College).  That said, both squads have several solid players coming up from the junior ranks that should be able to contribute almost immediately.

Another intriguing matchup on day one of the schedule features St. James travelling to Lourdes.  The Lions finished 2nd and Lourdes 4th during the regular season last year, and both clubs are set to return some serious star power ---- including Ryan Higgins (St. James) and Mike Finoro (Lourdes), who were the top two scorers during D10 play last season.

The D10 schedule goes through to February 10th, with the league championship final on Saturday, Feburary 19th.
