You win some, you lose some.
The JF Ross Royals handed me my second setback of the year in my picks column, taking out the GCVI Gaels 40-33 on the road in an important game for playoff seeding (and, quite possibly, CWOSSA qualification).
The Royals were also responsible for my other D10 incorrect selection this year during the first week of the schedule. So congrats to JFR for another fine effort on Tuesday afternoon.
Here's how things shook down:
Senior
Bishop Mac 58, Lourdes 27
My Pick: BMac
The Crusaders, still reeling with injuries and illness, could not match their earlier effort against Bishop Mac when they fell by only single digits. Sandra Clark and Andrea Priamo had 11 each for the Celtics, while Chelsey Mathieu (8) and Claire Endicott (7) led Lourdes.
Centre Wellington 53, ODSS 16
My Pick: CWDHS
The Falcons continue their strong play with a win at Orangeville. Jaime Janssen poured in 22 points to lead CW, with Erica McFadden contributing 10. Meagan Doyle (6) and Tori Quinn (5) for tops for the Bears.
JF Ross 40, Guelph CVI 33
My Pick: GCVI
As previously mentioned, the Royals improve to 7-2 with a road win at GC. Julia Robertson (13) and Kelly Dunk (10) led the way on this night, while for GCVI, Sierra McLaren (11) and Alyshia Warnholtz (10) were in double figures.
Centennial 47, St. James 27
My Pick: CCVI
Big win for the Spartans as they continue to maintain a firm grasp on 6th place in the D10. Courtney Whiteside had 11 and Charlotte Clarke 6 in the victory, while Julia Rawson (6) and Steph Wright (6) led the Lions.

Junior
Orangeville 46, Centre Wellington 22
The ODSS Bears continue their push for a possible CWOSSA "AAAA" berth with a win over CW at home. Evelyn Burgess had 13 for Orangeville, with teammate Claire Fenton chipping in 12. Abby Humber and Kristen Gora scored 5 each for CW.
Lourdes 44, Bishop Mac 29
In a battle between the two teams vying for D10's "AA" CWOSSA berth, Lourdes once again had the upper hand and took out the Celtics for the 2nd time this season. Key scorers for Lourdes were Victoria Brombal (10), Madison Vettoretto (9), Cecilia Hudecki (6) and Charlotte Case (5). Bishop Mac received 8 from Rebecca Morris, 5 from Kerrie Sullivan, and 4 each from Mackenzie Bernhardt and Sabrina Cazzola.
GCVI 54, JF Ross 23
The Gaels solidifed their hold as the top "AAAA" CWOSSA team at present with a win vs. the Royals. Jamie Young poured in 23 points, with Katie Strongman also in double digits (11). Clay Barley-Janzen also chipped in 8 for GCVI, while Ross got 8 from Megan Simpkins and 5 from Alana Vospers.
St. James 55, Centennial 34
The Lions stay undefeated on the year ---- and, to this point, only one D10 team has come within 20 points of St. James. Chelsey Gazzola added to her "15+" efforts with 15 on the nose, while Julia Toscun added 10. Hannah Newman had a game-high 16 for CCVI, while Hannah Ferguson had 7.
