Senior Girls
Bishop Mac 47, Centre Wellington 43
My Pick: BMAC
Even with Jaime Janssen (likely out the rest of the year) injured and unable to play, the CWDHS Falcons proved that they can still hang with the league's elite as they nearly knocked off the Celtics on the road. Erica McFadden led CW with 15 points, while Chelsea Riepert added 9. Alison Morris had 13 for Bishop Mac; her teammate Logan Lane chipped in with 9 points.
JF Ross 52, St. James 43
My Pick: JFR
The St. James Lions gave this one a good run, thanks primarily to the superb play of Erica Zen, who poured in 32 points. The Royals, though, still came out on top and improve to 8-2 on the year, backed by 15 from Vanessa Martini and 14 from Sydney Resch.
Guelph CVI 53, Centennial 14
My Pick: GCVI
Scoring details were not available, however, the Gaels continued their strong play at home and are now virtually guaranteed a finish no worse than 5th in the standings.
Lourdes 53, Orangeville 21
My Pick: OLOL
Kierra Bunnaman had a solid 18-point effort for Lourdes in this one, while Melinda McNeice chipped in a double-digit performance with 10. ODSS received 4 each from Callon Williams, April Davis, Megan Doyle and Rebecca Matheson.

Junior Girls
Guelph CVI 44, Centennial 42
After beating Resurrection at a tournament last weekend, the Spartans continue their solid play ---- but come up just short in this one. Hannah Newman (10) and Hannah Ferguson (9) led the way for the Spartans, while Jaime Young (17) and Katie Strongman (9) were tops for GCVI.
Bishop Mac 54, Centre Wellington 19
No trouble for the Celtics at home, as they keep the Falcons winless. Rebecca (14) and Jessica (9) Morris led the way here, with Anna deLange also chipping in 7 for BMac. Kristen Gora had 8 to lead CW.
Lourdes 64, Orangeville 25
Monica Trimble had a game-high 15 points for second-place Lourdes as they coast to an easy victory over ODSS. Victoria Brombal (11) and Madison Vettoretto (7) also had nice efforts for the Crusaders, while the Bears were led by Claire Fenton (11), Caitlin Fritz (5) and Evelyn Burgess (5).
St. James 64, JF Ross 25
Brittany Gazzola had a game-high 15 to lead St. James on this night as they improve to 10-0. They are off to a very tough tournament in the GTA this weekend, so it will be interesting to see how they do. For JF Ross, Nicole Richardson had 4 points.
