Eagles, Vikings Receive Top-10 Seeds at OFSAA

The St. John's Green Eagles and WCI Vikings will both be "top ten seeds" at the 16-team OFSAA "AAAA" tournament this week in Hamilton.

The Eagles, last year's AAAA gold medalists, have been awarded the #2 seed, and will play #12 Thomson CI (Toronto) in their first game on Thursday (5pm, Bishop Tonnos).

WCI has been given the #9 ranking, and will do battle with #3 Bishop Tonnos of Ancaster in their first matchup on Thursday (5pm, St. Mary's).  These two clubs actually played last month at the "More Hoops" tournament, with Bishop Tonnos prevailing 47-38.

The tournament's #1 seed is Hamilton St. Mary's CSS.
