Bishop Mac Wins Opener at "AA" OFSAA

At AA OFSAA in Sarnia, The Bishop Macdonell Celtics (Guelph) had no trouble with the #18 seeded GL Roberts Lakers of Oshawa --- routing them in opening round action to the tune of 62-18.

Alison Morris had 13, while Sandra Clark had 11 in the victory.  GLR received 6 each from Taylor Stone and Sheiyane Lewis-Fraser.

The Celtic defense was hard at work throughout the game, limiting the Lakers to just four points in both the first and second quarters, eight points in the third and just two in the fourth.

Bishop Mac is done for the day ---- they will next play tomorrow morning at 9am (at Sarnia SCITS) against the loser of #8 Strathroy Holy Cross and #14 Vaughan Road of Toronto.

Other early morning games today went as expected.

#6 Kingston La Salle took out #16 ES Theriault (Timmins) 59-20, and #4 Kingsville got a scare (43-40 game after three) but pulled away late against #15 Mississauga Ascension, 63-49.
