The #3 Bishop Macdonell Celtics of Guelph had no trouble with #14 Vaughan Road (Toronto) in their second round game this morning at "AA" OFSAA in Sarnia.
The girls got off to a bit of a slow start (18-12 BMac after one) but cranked up the defensive intensity the rest of the way as they cruised to a 52-27 win.
Leading scorers for Bishop Mac were Janine DeLeon (11) and Logan Lane (10).
The Celts will play their quarterfinal game tonight at 6:45pm against #6 seed Kingston La Salle. The winner of that game will secure at least a 4th place finish (and an OFSAA medal).
Good luck!
