The Centre Wellington Falcons captured the D10 senior girls' championship on Saturday night at the University of Guelph, dominating from start-to-finish and beating Guelph CVI 52-18.
Brenann Francis had 12 for the Falcons. Alysha Warnholtz led GCVI with 6.
The Falcons will be the #1 "AAAA" representative from the D10, and will be in a pool next weekend in Brantford with Centre Wellington and St. John's.
GCVI will be in a CWOSSA pool with WCI and St. Mary's.
In an exhilirating D10 junior final, the Lourdes Crusaders edged St. James 45-43, handing the Lions just their second loss of the year.
Monica Trimble (15) and Madison Vettoretto (14) were the top scorers for Lourdes, while Chelsey Gazzola (23) and Brittany Gazzola (11) led the Lions.
