CCI's Andrew Voelker sliced and diced the Royal defense to the tune of 38 points. Teammate Dan Halos added in 21.
Scoring details were not immediately available for CDDHS, but Marco and Carlo Zanette along with Doug Costanzo had strong efforts in the loss.
The Royals tip-off their D4 regular season next Monday, in a home game against Erin DHS.
This also isn't the last that CWOSSA has heard from Collingwood CI --- they will be partaking in a couple of area tournaments, including the Southwood tournament (December) and the St. Benedict's 32-team tournament in January.
I didn't see the game myself but I heard that most of Centre Dufferin's points came from Marco Zanette and Doug Costanzo. I heard Carlo had only a few points and was in foul trouble the entire game my guess is because he was trying to guard Andrew Voelker. Overall doesn't seem like this was a great effort from Centre Dufferin, not to take anything away from CCI though, who I heard played a pretty good game.
