After defeating Ancaster (59-37) in their opener, the Knights dropped a 58-29 decision to Burlington's Nelson HS. Adam Zack led the way with 19 points.
The Knights would play a friendly game against a top team out of Peel in Brampton Centennial --- which they lost by a 61-54 final. Karsten Beney had 13 for BCI in that one.
Bluevale played the entire weekend without Stefan Cvrkalj.
Meanwhile, the WCI Vikings dropped their opener 62-34 to the eventual tournament champions, London's HB Beal. Alex Copp had 13 points for the Vikes there.
WCI's consolation semifinal game against Hamilton MacNab also ended up in the loss column as MacNab pulled away to a 66-35 win. MacNab would win the consolation final over Hamilton ACMT 60-54.
